Today’s Reptile Exhibit was a HUGE Hit!!!! Our residents were amazed when they saw the reptiles and really enjoyed themselves. Not only did they get to see, touch, and pet them if they chose to, they also got to learn facts about each reptile and each animal! We finished the afternoon with Delicious Summer Slushies and a Yummy Snack!
The residents who asked to touch the snakes were the ones who we brought the snacks around. Those residents had a past history with snakes and happen to be snake lovers so it was nice to bring the things that they love to their home that they otherwise hadn’t seen in years. Some residents were curious and just wanted to look at the snakes and not touch them. Others cuddled up to the bunnies, chickens and goats.
